The Death Dealer
She nodded and pressed forward. Screams reached her ears, and she wished desperately that she could slap her hands over them, but she needed her hands to pull herself forward. Her throbbing knee dragged behind her, the pain pulsing through her leg with each strained movement.
Her breath hitched. She had to get a hold of herself. Falling apart was not going to help matters.
