Now it's time to act, and backing down from the man's estranged son is definitely not an option. After all, giving up her legacy to hot-blooded John Jordon means losing the chance to finally heal the wounds in her past.
Stopping John in his tracks—and resisting the sizzle between them—is Sasha's best defense. But there's more to him than she thought, which changes everything. With what matters most at stake, she'll have to risk a brand-new future with John, or walk away from the man whose heart belongs to her.

Tell us a little about yourself, what do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
I am happily married with two teenage daughters and live near Bath, England – my first book was published in 2007 and since then I’ve had at least one book a year released. For the last two years, I have written contemporary romance and romantic suspense for Harlequin Superromance, and Victorian romance for eKensington/Lyrical.
When I’m not writing, I like to socialize with friends and family, read, knit, watch far too much US crime drama and walk the beautiful Wiltshire countryside with my beloved black Lab, Max.
What genres do you write?
See above – right now, I write contemporary romance, romantic suspense and Victorian romance. I plan to write a bigger, darker romantic suspense by the end of the year so watch this space!
How did you come to write these genres?
Mostly because it’s what I love to read – I’d say romantic suspense is my favorite genre, but my fascination with the Victorian era has a lot to answer for too!
Who has most influenced your writing?
My favorite authors who undoubtedly influence my writing are Nora Roberts, Jill Shalvis, Kristan Higgins and UK Victorian romance writer, Jean Fullerton.
How long have you been writing?
I started writing short stories around 2001 and after a little success in online contests and women’s magazines, I started writing novels. My first was published in 2007 and I haven’t looked back J
Who is your favorite character from one of your books?
Ooh, VERY tough question! I love all my characters…even the villains. If I were forced into a corner, I would say my favorite hero is either Will Samson from The Seduction of Emily or Thomas Ashby in my next Victorian release, What A Woman Desires and my favorite heroines are, Cat Forrester from Finding Justice and Sasha Todd from What Belongs To Her.
Do you plan your stories or do they evolve as you write?
I’m a bit of a mixture of the two – I start my novels by writing a 2-3 page synopsis including the hero and heroine’s goal, motivation and conflict and then a rough chapter plan. After that, I write the entire first draft without looking back. The hard part comes in the following drafts and reworking the synopsis to incorporate all the changes that have occurred throughout the writing!
Is there a special indulgence you allow yourself while you’re writing?
Umm…does Twitter and Facebook count as indulgence? Or is that procrastination?
Tell us a little about your current work in progress.
I am currently nearing the end of book five in my Harlequin Superromance Templeton Cove series – this is Tanya Todd’s story who is Sasha’s sister (the heroine of What Belongs To Her). We never actually see Tanya in Sasha’s story, but she became an intriguing secondary character anyway and I wanted to give her a novel of her own.
Rachel’s latest contemporary novel is book 3 in her Harlequin series – What Belongs To Her
